When Hanna reached out with a message that said, “I'm going to a wedding in September and don't know what to wear with this" I was thrilled. I looooove me a good styling session, and I knew this would be the perfect chance to show how Drip Jewelry can transform an outfit.
Step 1: Getting to Know the Look
The first thing I do when someone asks for styling advice is get clear on the vibe they’re going for. Hanna sent me a screenshot of her dress, and we messaged back and forth a little to make sure I understood the assignment (lol). Was she looking for bold and eye-catching? Or something more minimal and timeless? Once I had her answers, it was time to start curating pieces.
Step 2: Curating Jewelry Options
I said the neckline of the dress was too high for a necklace and the colors of the dress made me think either pearls or something with black would look good - but I gave her several options just in case! Hannah’s response was "I'm thinking statement earrings and maybe a bracelet."
Because giving her product photos wasn't enough I had fun making oversized graphics of the model and the product to see which we liked best. (Obviously the statement earrings were the biggest thing we were trying to decide on)
